Sola Shopping privacy notice

Sola Shopping is operated by Branch Metrics, Inc. It is a fictional interactive storefront where you can explore products, build carts and simulate orders. No real products are sold and no payments or deliveries are processed.

Information we use

Account sign-in and registration are currently unavailable on this website while we prepare the secure account service. You can browse, use a local cart and simulate checkout as a guest. When secure account features are enabled, their authentication and profile-data practices will be described here. If you used an earlier version, contact us for help with your account or a privacy request.

Guest carts and some simulated-order state are stored on your device or browser. Product views, cart activity and simulated checkout may be recorded as analytics events. A simulated checkout is not a real purchase.

Branch provides link routing and owned/organic measurement. This can involve device/install identifiers, IP addresses, general location derived from IP, device information, product interactions and link/campaign context. A generated identifier can be associated with a signed-in account; it is not an email address but remains account-linked. The native apps enable Branch Full Attribution. Android includes advertising-ID support; on iOS, access to the advertising identifier requires your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Device settings and platform restrictions can limit available identifiers and attribution methods. Sola does not run paid-ad campaigns.

Providers and purposes

Information supports accounts, shopping-state restoration, links, interaction measurement, security and support/deletion requests. Supabase provides the account backend. Hosting, content delivery and authentication-email providers process information needed for their functions.

We do not sell personal information or use it for paid advertising. We do not export prospect information to CRM systems, agencies, advertising networks or data brokers for this experience. Necessary providers still receive information to operate the service.

Retention and deletion

The current public website does not create cloud accounts or save guest carts to an account. Guest shopping state remains in your browser until cleared. Account-lifetime and scheduled-deletion controls are being prepared for secure account activation; they are not an active guarantee for this website rollout.

We use limited operational records to address security, support and verified privacy requests. Provider analytics and operational records have their own retention schedules, described in Branch’s linked privacy policy. Contact us for information about a particular record or deletion request. We do not claim that clearing browser state deletes records already held by a provider.

Request access, correction or deletion through our support contact. We verify ownership and review the relevant Sola and provider records before confirming what action was completed. Removing a Sola account and removing separate Branch analytics are distinct operations; provider and backup copies may require separate handling.

Local state on an offline device may remain until cleared. Signing out or uninstalling is not cloud-account deletion. See account deletion.

Preferences and rights

Guest shopping does not require an account. Branch attribution and shopping-event measurement run by default. Sola does not provide an application-level tracking switch or use Global Privacy Control to disable this measurement. Operating-system and browser restrictions may still affect measurement. Account/security messages are distinct from marketing email. Marketing email, when offered, includes an unsubscribe link. When marketing subscriptions are available, email preferences and unsubscribe links will control those subscriptions. Using Sola does not subscribe you to marketing email.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, or object to processing. We verify ownership before releasing account information or acting on account requests.
